About Me

My photo
" i'm a paradox. i want to be happy, but i think of things that makes me sad. I'm lazy, yet i'm ambitious. i don't like myself, but i love who i am. i say i don't care, but i really do. i crave attention but i reject it when it really comes my way. i'm a conflicted contradiction.

Happiness?

Hii! well i was asked to write a composition on Happiness? how do i write it? that was when i try to recall times where i felt happy. And memories just came rushing.. let's just show you my whole work that i just finished. I secretly think i would do badly but oh well...

Composition- Define Happiness. Describe people objects or places that made you happy
**Note: Dear Mrs. Lai, I’m so sorry I have no idea I owe you a piece of composition. I will write it now… Sincere apologies. – Cynthia
Happiness is the consequence of personal effort; it is the magical feeling that stirs within you which lifts your spirits allowing you to forget all your troubles momentarily. Happiness is to realize what you want is what you get. In life, when do all of us feel happiness? When have I felt true happiness?
Happiness if often easy to neglect and forgotten when misery and discontentment gets into the picture. They make you forget the reason and the feeling itself, of how was it to be happy. One significant time where I felt true happiness and joy, of which when I recall would still bring warmth in my heart, is from the meeting of someone which made me understand the freedom you get from being happy, the contentment you feel when everything seem to have fallen into place like how you hoped it would be. That was my definition of happiness, pure joy from everything that happens at the moment of time. He understood me well, he played the roles of a father, brother, friend, teacher and any other positions needed. With him, I did not feel the need for anything; I did not possess the desire to make myself happy because my life was like a puzzle being fitted perfectly together by him. To me emotions are like chemical equations, with the right amounts and mixing of chemicals, a positive result would be obtained. He knew exactly what chemicals would react well with the chemical of my emotions that would provide the positive result of happiness. He filled my days with it, my heart with it; Such that, it was impossible to remove permanently and thoroughly all traces of those happiness from my memory and my heart. It was this moment where the overwhelming emotion causes you to possess the need to laugh and smile whilst forgetting everything else and getting lost in that moment, that I realize I was happy.
Happiness could also be obtained for me when the surprises that life holds each day happens to fall in pile with my hopes and desires. When things that appeals to my heart and my mind, occur and appears in my life, the emotion that was felt right after those moments could be named happiness for me. One of this beautiful and amazing moments in my life was when I was located at this particular place which seemed to have swept me away from reality for that short moment. The time where I stood right below a gushing fountain, as the cooling waters caressed me from my head to toe, when all that beholds my entire being were the pleasant streams of excitement, was a moment of freedom for my heart and soul, where I was freed from all worries and troubles for awhile.
Happiness could be found but never made. It could be earned and never stolen. Something we could only catch with our memory and continue to find more as time passes.

Mrs. Lai is my English teacher by the way.. i think that's about all im gonna post this time. Byeee! <3
